Michelle Wie confirmed for Fields Open

In some much anticipated news, Michelle's Wie's next event has been confirmed as The Fields Open, an lpga event, which will be played from the 21st to 23rd of February, 2008.
The Honolulu Advertiser quoted director of golf, Greg Nichols as saying "I'm excited to see Michelle because she's spent so much time out here. She's part of Ko Olina. It will be great to have her back. ... This is her home course and I fully expect her to play well. It's always tough coming back after not being in competition. The good news is, the rest of the girls are not playing much either."
The Fields Open is the 2nd event on the lpga tour calendar. Many of it's players will have also played the SBS Open which is also held in Hawaii, the week before the Fields Open.
Wie schedule after the Fields Open has not been finalised yet.
